This wonderfully, chunky pale aqua necklace was handmade by a local tribal artist in Oregon. The large Amazonite stones measure approx 18mmx20mm tumbled square. Larger stones are separated by deep red, natural garnets with natural, smaller amazonite stones completing the circle. Clasp is not shown in picture but is a beautiful S-shaped sterling clasp flanked by garnet. Necklace measures 18”.
Amazonite is a semi-opaque blue-green to pale green stone in the feldspar group named after the Amazon River. It comes mainly from United States and Australia. Some believe Amazonite soothes the emotions, calms the nerves.
